GreenKeeper
Privacy Policy
Blue Sparrow operates GreenKeeper, a local-first mobile application for outdoor service providers. This policy summarizes what GreenKeeper may collect, where records are stored, and how optional cloud sync works.
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Information we collect
GreenKeeper may store account details, business profile details, customer and service location records, route and visit history, photos, invoice records, manual external payment records, support messages, diagnostics, and subscription entitlement state.
- Customer names, addresses, gate codes, photos, invoice notes, and payment references are not intentionally included in analytics events.
- Push payloads are limited to non-PII sync hints such as type, workspace ID, and reason.
- RevenueCat and Google Play may provide subscription status and product lifecycle information.
Local-first storage
Core GreenKeeper records are stored on your device first. Local-only mode does not require a cloud account, and local records stay on the device unless you export, share, delete, or enable cloud sync.
Optional cloud sync
If you enable premium cloud sync, selected records may be stored in the GreenKeeper Rust/PostgreSQL backend and private backend media storage. Cloud sync may include workspace records, customers, locations, route stops, visits, invoices, media metadata, photos, invoice PDFs, device IDs, and sync status.
Photos and media
Photos may contain property-sensitive or personal information. GreenKeeper compresses picked photos and strips EXIF location metadata where technically practical before cloud upload. Photos and PDFs are not publicly listable.
Invoices and payments
GreenKeeper does not process customer payments. The app may store invoice records, invoice PDFs, your own external payment instructions, and manual payment status. Do not store card numbers, bank login credentials, payment processor tokens, or customer payment credentials.
Service providers
GreenKeeper may use Firebase/Google services for authentication, push, diagnostics, and webhook infrastructure; RevenueCat for subscriptions; Google Play for billing; backend hosting and PostgreSQL for premium sync; private backend media storage; and email/support providers for messages you send.
Your choices
- Use GreenKeeper locally without creating a cloud account where supported.
- Export records from the app.
- Delete or archive local business records in the app.
- Request cloud account or workspace deletion through the account deletion page or privacy contact.
- Manage subscriptions through Google Play.
Security and retention
We use HTTPS, Firebase Authentication for cloud accounts, Rust API authorization, PostgreSQL workspace isolation, private media storage paths, and least-privilege credential handling. Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, or overwrite it through app use.
